Gina Rotolo Public Relations specializes in media relations, marketing and branding, crisis management and event planning. Her background includes developing and executing comprehensive public relations and marketing plans for high profile clients, large-scale events and festivals, creating and implementing image and branding campaigns and crisis management scenarios.
With more than 10 years of experience, Rotolo has organized and managed some of Houston’s biggest events including: the annual Texas Crawfish & Music Festival; July 4th Extravaganz at Sam Houston Race Park; New Year's Eve Zoom & Boom Celebration at The Park; 2006 NBA All-Star Weekend; 2005 Big 12 College Football Championship Fan Fest ; Super Bowl XXXVIII; 2005 Major League Baseball All-Star Game; 2004 & 2005 Astros National League Playoffs and the 2005 World Series.
Rotolo has consistently worked in the entertainment world for more than 6 years providing media relations for artists, tours and management companies. In addition, she has coordinated media campaigns for entertainment festivals including SXSW, New Orleans Jazzfest, Vans Warped Tour, Austin City Limits Festival, and Jazz Aspen Festival.
For more than 3 years, Rotolo worked in conjunction with downtown business owners and operators and the City of Houston to develop the Downtown Entertainment District (DEDA). She was responsible for creating and managing large-scale, public events for a variety of sports and holidays, as well as designing and implementing sponsorship, membership and marketing programs.
Not limited to the sports & entertainment world, she works with a range of clients coordinating business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing strategies for corporate, private and non-profit organizatoins. This includes coverage with major news outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, LA Times, ABC’s Nightline, CNN, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, MTV, VH1, Discovery Channel, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Southern Living, Food Network, AP, Reuters, National Public Radio and many other national business and trade publications.
Rotolo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History/French with a minor in advertising/public relations from Texas Christian University. She volunteers her time regularly with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, MDA, Susan G. Komen and a variety of civic-based programs and organizations.
